Michael Shaw is known for his positive energy, encouraging nature, and genuine love for the game. A lifelong athlete, Michael’s background spans multiple sports, including competing in Basketball, Table Tennis, Spikeball, and Pickleball, with recreational experience in tennis and ultimate frisbee.

His best results include claiming gold in Men’s and Bronze in Mixed doubles at a Brickwall Moneyball in the Florida region. He has also qualified in a PPA main draw, earning him the nickname "Main Draw Shaw". Some notable wins recently include besting several previous AFPL players including: Jae Centonze, John Cangliosi, Michael Leonard, RJ Aninon, Zak Parks, Bharat Karunakaran (BK), Tobias Moreno, Andi Godwin, and Ava Pisacrita. His best result in singles is beating Indigo Dagnall who is a signed PPA pro currently.
