Hi!! My name is Ava Pisacrita and I'm 21 years old! I'm originally from Louisville, Kentucky and actually come from a soccer background with zero tennis experience (lol). After my first year at Ole Miss, I moved down to SoFl to pursue my love for pickleball.

While in high school, I was ranked ninth in women's singles and 19th in women’s doubles for the Top 50 Junior’s Division. Medaling in numerous 5.0+ tournaments before pursuing the sport seriously, I won three gold, one silver, and one bronze medal at the Minto US Open Pickleball Championships over a three-year period. After relocating to Florida, I now play in pro-qualifier and main draw professional tournaments, accumulating ranking points in both.

Beyond competing, I coach pickleball and lead clinics for both adults and young athletes. Perhaps my favorite achievement is co-founding and representing the face of women’s South Florida’s “Brickwall Pro Series.” Previously a men’s exclusive moneyball, I helped establish and grow the women’s moneyball tournaments, where highly involved female players could also have a chance to compete for large prize payouts. As well as establishing, organizing, and running these tournaments, I am also currently ranked #3 as a competitor in mixed doubles and #4 in women's doubles.

I'm so excited for Season 3 and hope to be a part of AFPL and their wonderful community!
